innovation + go green = cost saving

Working as a marketing leader in a GO GREEN company (J-Trend Systems, Inc.) is not always easy, because everytime when a customer complains to me, "why it's so hard to go green; what's the benefit of GO GREEN, why do I need to spend more", I am getting a bit upset and now after so many times, I have been working with my team and people to devote time to think about how to "be innovative" and "go green", and at the same time, achieve cost saving = low cost leadership. This is what my mom told me, the good products need to be greener, cheaper, and better to use. 

Here is our rule:

• material reduction, when thinner can get things done, why do we need to make it so thick? When stronger can make customers happy, why not we make customer happier?
• intelligent plastics, when we understand this plastic might not be disposed properly and might take a very long time to degrade in landfill, why not we make it degrade fast and save our earth and save the ocean animals?
• reduce packging and printing, we never over packaging and over printing. If we can get things done with one colour printing, why use two colours? And, we only use water printing ink, eco friendly. 
• reduce logistic carbon footprint, logistic sometimes cost a lot of carbon footprint, so we manage to reduce the chances of sending unnecessary samples and use high tech multimedia technology, like Skype to contact conference call and exchange samples through video transmission - direct and much more interactive.
